Meet fr. simon esshaki

Fr. Simon Esshaki is a Chaldean Catholic priest of the Eparchy of St. Peter the Apostle for the Western United States. He joined the Chaldean Catholic Seminary of Mar Abba the Great in 2009 and completed his studies in 2015 with a Masters degree in Biblical Theology. He was ordained a priest that same year and serves as the administrator of St. Michael Chaldean Catholic Church in El Cajon, CA. He is currently in the process of becoming a Canon lawyer through the JCL program at the Catholic University of America.

Gia Chacón is a humanitarian, motivational speaker, and founder of For the Martyrs and the March for the Martyrs. She first began her humanitarian efforts in 2017 and has since traveled to Central America, East Africa, and throughout the Middle East.

During her time with the refugees, she had the opportunity to speak with them about the atrocities they faced and the horrible acts of violence they suffered for refusing to renounce Christ.

After hearing these stories, God laid it on her heart to bring awareness to the growing crisis of Christian Persecution and to make a positive impact in the lives of the suffering faithful. This led to the founding of For the Martyrs.

In addition to public speaking, pro-life advocacy, and religious freedom advocacy, Gia Chacón is a published writer, has been featured in news articles, and interviewed on television and radio shows. Daily, she impacts culture through her social media account @genuinelygia.

Night will end with praise and worship.
